I get most of my protein from non-animal sources, and I've been using this product for years with none of the gastro-intestinal issues noted in the other review.

Okay, perhaps I am the exception to the rule, but I found the Uni-Liver product extremely harsh on my gastrointestinal system. Diarrhea, cramping, bloating and bad gas all resulted. I even cut the recommended dosage in half - to no avail. I actually stuck it out for almost 10 days with this product, and then I had had enough. I actually purchased Uni-Liver because it was cheaper than the desiccated liver sold by Beverly International. Big mistake.
Other Ingredients: Desiccated bovine liver,whey,terra alba,choline citrate,inositol monophosphate,magnesium stearate and stearic acid.
Recommended Use: As a dietary supplement, take 2-4 tablets with each meal. Daily intake can be increased to 6 tablets per each meal during periods of intense training and competition.
The tryptophan in the product is naturally occuring.
