I made them, took them out of the oven, and took a small bite (you're supposed to chill them completely after baking) - blech! I didn't have very high hopes at this point. I tried them chilled the next day, and they were completely different - like they had set or something. People sensitive to sugar alcohols, watch out - these are packed with them. (even beats most non diet ones) I added chopped black walnuts to the mix and the end result was amazing. It does use a whole stick of butter, but that is what helps give them a chewy/moist texture.
