Pecans are the fruit of a species of hickory tree native to North America. The Pecan was a staple of the Native American diet prior to the arrival of the first European settlers. Pecans are a good source for a number of nutrients, including zinc and magnesium. They are also a good source of fiber.

Make your own Pecan butter! 1 cup Pecans, 1/2 tsp. NOW Macadamia Nut Oil. Salt to taste. Blend ingredients in blender or food processor until you get consistency you like.
