I missed eating oatmeal for breakfast so much going low-carb BUT NOT ANYMORE!!! This hot cereal (although a bit finer in texture than oats) is out of this world!! I tried the butter pecan variety and embellished it for more flavor & sweetness. (a MUST, I feel) Added Walden Farms Maple Syrup, a bit of cinnamon, a few extra chopped pecans to crunch it up a notch more and then a drizzle of heavy cream. VIOLA! WAY LOW CARB breakfast is served and I long for oatmeal no more! The suggested serving of a 1/2 cup sounds small but is more than filling so I just thought I'd mention that. Happy dining!

I thought the cereal was excellent and I especially liked the fact that I didn't have to put it in the microwave because similar cereals seem to boil all over the place. The taste was true to flavor and the consistency was good. It wasn't lumpy and it mixed up effortlessly. Now I'm going to order it in each flavor. Also the speed of delivery was outstanding... Thank you.

I have been eating this cereal for several years. I have GI inflammatory problems due to Lupus and this flax seed base cereal is my relief. Add a handful of raisins, some walnuts, some brown sugar or a small amount of stevia to taste. Then, zap it in the microwave for a few minutes.
Yum!
Eat this cereal every am and a hi-potency probiotic supplement and viola! Leaky gut syndrome gone, cramps and constipation gone. I have been known to take this cereal along on vacation and eat it with hot tap water and a cup in an emergency fix if there is no coffee maker to get the boiling water. That is how much I believe in this 'miracle' food for my body. I keep it in the fridge (especially in summer months) because it can go rancid if stored too long in warm spaces. Try it, add what you enjoy and your tummy will thank you.
This is a great low carb starter, have been eating it for a while now and it helps keep me regular as you would imagine 12 grams of fiber per serving would.
I am so happy that I tried this product! I love hot cereal and found it off limits for the 10 years that I have been low carbing. I love this cereal and have it almost every morning for breakfast. I just add a little Walden Farms carb free marshmallow and it is out off this world!
Just the thing when you're craving hot cereal--it's delicious with some heavy cream & a little low carb sweetener... easy to make, good for digestion. It's like a cross between the malt o meal of my childhood and a bran muffin! I love this for a late evening snack when everybody else is drinking beer or eating ice cream.
Both Wheat-free products taste great, so I include them when ordering the other flavors as well. Easy to make and transport. Great for a quick meal. With the Chocolate, I may mix that with another flavor just for a mix up. .5:.5 or 1:.5 (choc).
I was very skeptical about this product, but pleasantly surprised when I tried it. Believe it or not, one serving is too much. Usually serving sizes are laughably small, but I couldn't finish my bowl of this chocolaty goodness (it expands quite a bit.) I would suggest cutting back on the cereal, but not the water as I had to add extra water to get an edible consistency.

Very tasty and satisfying cereal. Delicious with butter and cream! Didn't need any sweetener. Nice chocolatey flavor with a pleasant aftertaste. Highly recommend this cereal.

*Deduct dietary fiber from total carb count to achieve Actual Carb Count. This product would be 14-12 equals 2 carbs.
Ingredients: Wheat bran, flax seed meal, soy protein isolate (non GMO), freeze-dried blueberries, natural flavorings, salt and sucralose.
Recommended Use: Just add 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup of boiling water to 1/2 cup cereal, let stand for 2 minutes until desired thickness. Stir periodically.
Serving Suggestions.
Add butter and half & half, sweeten to taste.
