Carb Counters Cake Mix
The Devil's Food Cake Mix is Gluten Free,
Wheat Free, Low Carb, and has no sugar added. It is all natural, with such a rich chocolate favor, and so delicious you will actually think it tastes more like chocolate
than normal high carb cakes. Just add eggs, butter, bakers unsweetened chocolate
and cream to get a scrumptious 9 x 13 cake (12 servings) or make two 8 or 9 layer
cakes in 20 minutes. This cake does not need frosting, but we like to mix cream
cheese with whipping cream and add low carb sweetener to get a delicious fluffy
frosting when company is coming. Otherwise, just freeze the cake in serving
size portions and have a piece at a time (it keeps great frozen for 2 months.)
This will become a mainstay for any true chocolate cake lover.

| Perfect low-carb birthday sheet cake. This is by far the best low carb chocolate cake I've ever eaten, and I've baked quite a few from scratch. I used the Devils Food Cake Mix following the directions (adding butter, melted chocolate, etc.) It has the puffy, cake-like texture missing in so many low carb baked products. Makes 12 generous servings in a 9 x 13" pan (maybe even 16 servings.) Frosted with Carb Counter's Chocolate Butter Frosting, it has 5 g of carb per serving, and you can't go wrong. |

| This is our favorite low carb dessert for special occasions -- it is easy to make and results in a very moist chocolate cake. We substitute 1/3 cup of Irish whiskey for 1/3 cup water and make a whip cream frosting adding cocoa, Irish whiskey, sweetener, and chopped walnuts to the whipped cream. It is so yummy even our high carb dessert eating guests like it. |

| Chocolate cake is one of my very favorite low carb items. Only downfall is that you have to buy baker's chocolate separately, but the taste is worth the trouble! |

| Recommended Use: Move oven rack to center & preheat to 350 degrees. You will need 3oz of UNSWEETENED baker chocolate, 2 sticks of butter, 4 eggs and 2/3 cup of water.
Melt 3 oz of UNSWEETENED bakers chocolate together with 2 sticks (1cup) butter and add to mix along with 4 eggs and 2/3 cup water. Stir with whip or spoon 1-2 minutes until well mixed and spoon evenly into greased 9 inch x 13 inch pan.Bake at 350 degrees for 18 minutes. Do NOT overbake or cake will be dry. Ovens may vary. NOTE: Cake is done when toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean,
