If you miss cereal, try this! Cinnamunch makes a fantastic low-carb cereal! Just break up half an ounce into small pieces and add milk. It tastes better and is lower in calories and carbs than most cereals I've tried. I can't recommend these highly enough. And I feel better about eating them than other pork rinds, because they're baked rather than fried. I almost never write reviews but had to for these; they're that good. To Flax-Z-Snax: why not offer a box of Cinnamunch pieces as cereal! So many of us out here are dying for a no-soy low-carb cereal.

I've been trying Atkins for a little while now, and was completely bored of the Grocery store options of low-carb. I can only eat so much string cheese and beef sticks. I found this site and these Pork Rinds are to die for. Even if I wasn't on Atkins I would still buy these cause they taste so good. Definitely worth buying them by the case.

Great low carb snack. I also buy them by the case. They are light and airy with a buttery cinnamon taste. Do yourself a favor and give these a try. You will not be disappointed.

When first opening the bag I was a bit cautious. Pork that has a cinnamon taste? I didn't know what to expect. Luckily, after my first bite I was more than pleased with the pleasant taste and texture of these rinds. They have a nice crunch factor with just the right amount of flavor. I don't feel guilty eating these, considering they have only 45 cal per serving and only 1 gram of carbs. Overall great product. They really help me stick with my diet.

These brownies are GREAT! Very moist and yummy. The rich chocolate flavor is so good, you'd think you were eating the regular, carb loaded commercial brand. I added a handful of chopped pecans which I loved but they would be just fine on their own. Worth every penny! I just purchased two more! I'll be making more of these very, very soon!!

Another great product. A bit pricey but worth it for the rich chocolate flavor. Generally I will mix this as instructed, throw in a hand full of chopped walnuts and sometimes a small hand full of dried cherries. Then the trick is to spoon the batter (very thick) onto parchment paper and bake as cookies. Better to under bake them a bit. I even substitute DaVinci sugar free Cherry syrup for the water in mixing. It makes about 30 small cookies so the servings can be smaller with fewer carbs consumed.

Very tasty and good texture, but I agree that they are still a little higher carb count than I'd prefer.

Excellent taste and texture. Even my kids loved them. The only thing that keeps them from being 5 star is that the serving size is small, and with 5 net carbs per serving, you could end up eating twice that in a normal size serving.

Very Good for a low-carb mix! Compared to others I've tried, this is the best so far. It does have a few more carbs than other brands, but the taste is worth it. There is no sense in spending a lot of money on low-carb products that taste so bad you won't eat them. This is one that you will actually WANT to eat! Brownies are nice and moist and dense. Very good flavor and consistency and easy to make!

A word of warning: this stuff is addictive! I've tried the Cinnamon Nut, and absolutely love it! My favorite is to just eat it plain like granola, or put it in low-carb yogurt. It's also good with milk over it like cereal. I would definitely recommend this. It tastes so good and is great for you- I've heard so much about how good flaxseed is!

I especially like the Wild Cherry Nutrageous granola, although all of the flavors are excellent! For a delicious and satisfying LOW CARB breakfast cereal, just mix a 1/2 cup granola with 1 cup of Vanilla Soy Slender. Fantastic!

By using half-n-half, Flax-Z-Snax Granola becomes a fantastic breakfast cereal and remains low-carb. I've been eating it regularly for years. My only complaint is that the Wild Cherry Nut contains more shell fragments than I would like.

I missed eating oatmeal for breakfast so much going low-carb BUT NOT ANYMORE!!! This hot cereal (although a bit finer in texture than oats) is out of this world!! I tried the butter pecan variety and embellished it for more flavor & sweetness. (a MUST, I feel) Added Walden Farms Maple Syrup, a bit of cinnamon, a few extra chopped pecans to crunch it up a notch more and then a drizzle of heavy cream. VIOLA! WAY LOW CARB breakfast is served and I long for oatmeal no more! The suggested serving of a 1/2 cup sounds small but is more than filling so I just thought I'd mention that. Happy dining!

September 01, 2006 Reviewer: MARGARET in New York |
I thought the cereal was excellent and I especially liked the fact that I didn't have to put it in the microwave because similar cereals seem to boil all over the place. The taste was true to flavor and the consistency was good. It wasn't lumpy and it mixed up effortlessly. Now I'm going to order it in each flavor. Also the speed of delivery was outstanding... Thank you.

I have been eating this cereal for several years. I have GI inflammatory problems due to Lupus and this flax seed base cereal is my relief. Add a handful of raisins, some walnuts, some brown sugar or a small amount of stevia to taste. Then, zap it in the microwave for a few minutes. Yum! Eat this cereal every am and a hi-potency probiotic supplement and viola! Leaky gut syndrome gone, cramps and constipation gone. I have been known to take this cereal along on vacation and eat it with hot tap water and a cup in an emergency fix if there is no coffee maker to get the boiling water. That is how much I believe in this 'miracle' food for my body. I keep it in the fridge (especially in summer months) because it can go rancid if stored too long in warm spaces. Try it, add what you enjoy and your tummy will thank you.

This is a great low carb starter, have been eating it for a while now and it helps keep me regular as you would imagine 12 grams of fiber per serving would.

I am so happy that I tried this product! I love hot cereal and found it off limits for the 10 years that I have been low carbing. I love this cereal and have it almost every morning for breakfast. I just add a little Walden Farms carb free marshmallow and it is out off this world!

This product is really good. I make it as waffles and pancakes. It is a little dryer than regular mixes, but with some of Walden Farms sugar free pancake syrup, it is perfect.

Finally! I've been doing low-carb for about 16 months now & pancakes are one of the things I've missed the most. I've tried just about every other brand out there & was tremendously disappointed in them. This Pancake & Waffle Mix is different!!!! The texture is just like I remember from "regular" pancakes & the taste is amazing & they cook up the same, too. No weirdness at all. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by this one - I would even serve them to people not on a low-carb diet. I highly recommend this excellent product.

January 30, 2009 Reviewer: Cindy in Kansas |
FABULOUS!!! I normally use Maple Grove's low carb pancake and waffle mix but on a fluke, tried this and OMG!! I always make waffles with my mixes so I made a waffle with this one. Used 2/3 cup of mix and omitted the oil. They were soft and fluffy and far superior to Maple Groves (with all due respect to Maple Groves because they are good and filling but a bit rubbery). Flax Z Snax is also about twice as expensive but that is not a detour ant as they are VERY good. Ordering more and going to try the blueberry.
