These bars are a good meal replacement with enough calories to get me through 2 - 3 hours at the gym with no shaky, blood sugar drop feeling. Nice dry texture and not real sweet like some of the candy bars.

I've tried a lot of protein bars and Chef Jay's is by far the best. They have a great texture and taste with no chemical after-taste. Since they don't have a chocolate coating they hold up remarkably well in a back pack, ski jacket, or pocket. I've taken these all over the world and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend Tri-O-Plex bars.

These bars are awesome. High protein content and taste pretty good. I've tried Very Berry, Caramel Apple, Cinnamon Raisin, S'mores, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, and Blueberry Muffin, which is no longer carried. An extra plus for me being allergic to nut products is that they are one of the few brands that makes bars without some combination of peanuts, walnuts, peanut butter, etc. Highly recommended.

Chef Jay's Tri-O-Plex Bars are delicious, contain quality non-gelatin based protein and ingredients (e.g., whole grain rolled oats), and have relatively low levels of sugar. As an added bonus, they don't melt or freeze when I bring them with me on hikes or ski trips. I have been eating CJ's bars on a daily basis for many years, while sampling other bars. I have yet to find a better bar.

As a golfer, these are the best to put in my bag and nibble on throughout a round of golf. They are not covered in chocolate candy and therefore are not messy to eat. I highly recommend this product for golfers of any level of play.

I personally really like this bar as a morning snack two hours after breakfast. Love the taste and good amount of protein. Would give it a 5 rating if the company that makes it finds a way to maintain better consistency between batches of product since at times I have received a box of bars that is too dry. That said, I have been buying these bars for years and have yet to find one that I like better.

These bars, as originally formulated, were melt-in-your mouth delicious, and their texture was more reminiscent of bakery items than protein bars. The Caramel Apple was so good that, with a dollop of ice cream, it could pass for pie a la mode. But the new formulation added more calories in the form of sugar... so you'd think they'd taste even better, right? Dead WRONG! They now have a tough, VERY strange texture, and you can TASTE the artificial flavors. Most even have an aftertaste. I had to toss out the Very Berry bar after only one bite. I truly mourn the loss of these formerly delectable bars. Chef Jay's should be whacked upside the head for messing around with perfection.

The original recipe was better in taste and calorie count! I stopped buying these after trying the new recipe.

I don't like these bars. Inferior protein sources, artificial sweeteners, ingredients I can't pronounce, poor texture, below average taste.

If I could rate a 0 on these I would. The original recipe was great. These are awful. Don't waste your money.
